Your work changes lives. Your systems should help carry it.

You built something worth protecting, not just profit. And over time, the work has come to rest on scattered spreadsheets, informal knowledge, and cumbersome workflows that were never meant to carry this much.

In Service AI works beside you as your strategic partner, using practical, human-centered AI to preserve the heart of what already exists, strengthen the operations underneath it, and make your impact easier to see, sustain, and grow. Not someday. This can start now.

Impact Intelligence

Enterprise rigor, applied fresh.

Denisse built her expertise where the stakes were highest. Now she builds it for organizations that never had access to it.

She calls this discipline Impact Intelligence: turning scattered operations and data into evidence your funders, board, and team can actually trust, with AI as the accelerant, not the headline.

As a Senior Leader at Deloitte, Denisse Rodriguez oversaw multimillion-dollar digital transformations across 70+ countries and four continents. She specializes in the operational and data disciplines that determine whether AI actually works or just looks like it does: process design, workflow architecture, and data governance. In her enterprise engagements, that discipline turned fragmented processes and scattered data into systems every stakeholder could trust, ensuring that the organizational impact was measurable, defensible, and visible to every stakeholder, including those on the front lines and in the boardroom.

Her systems have held up in the world's most complex environments. They can hold up in yours without asking you to start over.

Who We Serve

See the Method

For-Profit Healthcare / Social Services / Community Development / Founders / Operations Leaders / Directors & CEOs / Mission-Driven Organizations … and the leaders who carry them.

The hidden load you've been carrying.

For a typical 25-person team, the gap between mission and infrastructure quietly consumes the capacity your people need to serve well, respond fully, and reach the next person waiting for the work.

I enter the same number into three different systems. I'm never sure which version is the truth.
If our operations manager leaves, our institutional knowledge leaves with her. Every vacation feels like a potential crisis.
I have to reconstruct our story from spreadsheets every time a funder asks for a report. The board sees yesterday's data, not today's.
Two stacked grant deadlines feel like a personal crisis. Sometimes we just don't apply.
Strategy meetings turn into downloads from my head, because there's no shared foundation for the team to see.

None of this is a personal failing. It's what happens when systems get built under pressure instead of by design, and no dashboard or AI tool fixes that on its own.

Based on enterprise benchmarks, here's what fragmented systems typically cost a 25-person team, until the right foundation is in place:

6–8hours per person, per week
~7,800hours a year — 3.75 full-time employees
$318,750conservative lost productivity, annually

And when that strain leads even two mid-level staff members to leave, the cost isn't just the $170,000 in rehiring and retraining. It's the context, trust, and institutional knowledge that leaves with them.

When the lost hours become visible, the path forward becomes less overwhelming. You don't need to replace everything your team has built. You need a foundation that can hold the weight.

Most organizations don't have an AI problem. They have an operational foundation problem. Until your systems, processes, and information work together, every new tool simply adds another layer of complexity.

Pathways to clarity.

We meet you at whatever stage you're in, a single fix, a full audit, or a company-wide transformation, and build a plan sized to that need, not a fixed menu.

No. 1 Diagnostic Snapshot

For the leader who doesn't know where to start, or whether AI can help her org at all. A focused session and a one-page deliverable built to hand straight to your leadership: a practical decision brief that identifies your highest-value opportunity and a clear recommendation for next steps.

No. 2 AI-Ready Operations Assessment

For the Director or CEO who understands AI is a long-term operational capability. Stakeholder interviews and operational analysis produce a key findings report and a prioritized roadmap that aligns operational improvements, organizational readiness, and mission priorities into one coherent AI strategy.

No. 3 AI System Implementation

For the organization with an established strategic roadmap, ready to build and stabilize it. One high-impact process, enhanced and proven into a working system your team owns, not one Denisse has to maintain.

No. 4 Full Operational Transformation

For organizations ready to redesign multiple processes around one AI strategy. A full-organization assessment, three to five high-impact processes rebuilt, ongoing strategic guidance as your Fractional Chief AI Officer, and a defined hand-off plan with training and documentation.

Some organizations already know exactly what they need. These stand on their own, not as steps toward something bigger:

Also Single AI Tool Implementation

For organizations that already know the one friction they want fixed. We implement a single, high-leverage AI tool, train your team, and stay on through the first weeks of adoption.

Also Fractional Chief AI Officer

For organizations that want ongoing AI leadership without hiring a full-time executive. We help your leadership evaluate opportunities, refine priorities, and build internal capability, continuously, without taking on new implementation work.

Also Done-For-You AI Reporting

For organizations that want the reporting benefits of their new systems without dedicating internal time to producing it. We prepare your recurring reports, from funder updates to board packets, using the systems already built together.

All implementation work is milestone-based: you approve each phase before the next one bills. Starting with a Single AI Tool Implementation and later moving into a larger engagement carries a credit toward that next phase, so starting small is never a wasted step.

The Method

The path of restoration.

A clear process built for your organization's independence, not your dependency on a consultant. That's why ours is an accompaniment model, not a drop-and-run implementation. We meet clients where they are, partner with them through the hard middle of unraveling and improving their operations, and close every engagement with a transition built for their team to own.

01 Assess.

We start with what's already working, then surface the right problems in the right order, ranking use cases by real value, not by what's easiest to sell.

02 Strategize.

We build a credible roadmap and change management plan before we touch a single tool.

03 Map & Prioritize.

We look at the whole operating picture, and find the bottlenecks that actually limit your reach, not just the ones that are loudest.

04 Ground the Data.

We clean and document your data in a secure way. AI only succeeds when its foundation is grounded in truth.

05 Implement.

We start small and iterate honestly. We build only what's proven to work for your team.

06 Transfer.

We deliver the training and documentation your organization needs to own the system outright. So your team no longer has to depend on us.

07 Sustain.

If you want an ongoing partner, we stay close as your mission grows, monitoring, improving, and attuning the system instead of disappearing once the first build is complete.

“The goal was never to make your team obsolete. It was to give them room to do the work only they can do.”

New Practice

New practice. Proven judgment.

In Service AI is a new practice, built on decades of enterprise experience. That perspective brings structure, care, and practical judgment to the work of strengthening what your team already depends on.

Denisse isn't bringing a technology playbook into your organization. She brings three decades of building operational foundations that people, data, and technology can all rely on. A Master of e-Business. Certifications in progress in AI-Assisted Consulting and AI-Assisted Agency Acceleration. Native fluency in English and Spanish, which means she can sit in a room with your bilingual staff, your board, or your funders and never lose the nuance. A recent teaching session for the Sustainability Network on AI fundamentals, because she'd rather explain this clearly than sell it vaguely.

She helps mission-driven organizations build the systems that allow people, data, and AI to work together. She's not a tech vendor, because her work begins by strengthening the systems organizations already rely on, and she's not an implementation shop that leaves once the tool is installed. Every founder and operations leader she's spoken with carries some version of the same unspoken fear:

“We built this with everything we had. Please don't break it.”

That fear is the starting point of her method, not an objection to get past. Every engagement starts by asking what's already working, so she knows exactly what to protect while building.

What former colleagues say

“Across complex data initiatives, Denisse brought order to chaos, giving her team full autonomy while shielding them from roadblocks.”

Sayandeep Mall

“She leads with vision and empathy, bringing structure to complex problems while the people around her feel trusted and empowered.”

Our Story

The shift to service.

Denisse didn't leave the corporate world because she stopped believing in the importance of the work. She left because she saw where that same expertise was needed most.

She built her reputation at global scale, helping organizations align data, technology, and people under pressure. Her expertise in data management and data governance became the foundation for Impact Intelligence: the discipline behind AI that actually works, not just AI that looks like it does.

Following a career inside the Big Four, she asked herself one honest question:

Who would I work with if the money weren't the point?

The answer was the people doing mission work without the tools to match it: the leaders in for-profit healthcare, social services, and community development who shoulder meaningful work with deep commitment, but without the infrastructure their organizations now need. So she built In Service AI to close that specific gap.

As a mother and a builder, Denisse brings a different kind of range: she listens first, and acts with discipline. She isn't a tech vendor selling you a platform. She's a Foundation Partner, someone who respects what's already valuable, strengthening what's weak, and helping you let go of what no longer serves the work.

Mission & Vision

The big idea behind In Service AI.

Every part of this practice exists to close one gap: between what mission-driven leaders carry and what their systems actually support.

Mission.

In Service AI exists to lighten the load carried by the people doing the world's most meaningful work, using human-centered AI to clear the invisible drag between what you do and what the world can see of it.

Vision.

In Service AI will be known as the partner that helped mission-led organizations run with the discipline of a large institution without losing the heart that makes them special, one organization at a time.

Deep operational knowledge, in service of leaders doing work that matters, so they wake up energized instead of exhausted, with organizations that finally run as steadily as their mission deserves.

The work that matters most has always been under-resourced. That changes the moment your infrastructure starts working as hard as your team does.

  • Stop entering the same number into three systems
  • Stop losing institutional knowledge every time someone takes a vacation
  • Stop reconstructing your board report the night before the meeting
  • Stop watching your best people burn out on work a system could carry instead
